Back in 1991, Oasis Pensive Abacutors released the very first licensed and upgraded Operating System for the original Texas Instruments TI-99/4(a) Home Computers and it was pre-installed in their S.O.B. – Son Of a Board device, which contained two custom GAL’s and 16k EPROM replacing the original two console GROM’s and adding a number of minor improvements for the original TI code, plus 4K of new original GPL programming code which contained our O.P.A. Micro-Manager system.

Now in June 2025 with our first TePhOS release, we have updated the original code even more, and designed it to replace all three original console GROM’s, giving us a full 24k to work with, and on-top of that using the amazing banking system featured in the Grommy2 hardware, we have now in-fact a full 96k of GPL storage space to work with, plus more new features, including a backup 6k fail-safe GROM0, and 24k of GRAM as well.
